This course will navigate you through the most pertinent subjects related to navigating with and without electronic aids.
By the end of this course, you will be able to:
- Understand how to use your compass
- Understand how to read a map and assess terrain
- Recognize common terrain features and determine the best path
- Identify the tactical uses proper terrain selection have and their implications for mission success
- Plot a course, calculate distance, establish pace counts, use ranger beads, and more!
- How to use the Army DAGR system
